Revised the previous shot

So yesterday I talked to Hillary my tutor who gave me advice for the shot I've been working on, suffice to say I think it looks much better!

The end of the day

So it's the end of the day and today I've been working on this shot, I'm pretty happy with the overall outcome, it gives across character but also continues the story in an interesting and funny way whilst eliminating 2 extraneous shots in the film, that were pretty boring. Tomorrow I'll be adding more follow through because it's lacking in that area

Some dude

So this guy popped into my head yesterday evening and I felt like just getting him out onto Digital to see where I could take it, I kinda like him, especially the mouth. But I'm terrible at drawing poses, so I think next I'll take him and create a pose, with an interesting body shape...I'm thinking big chest, small waist and tiny legs. Comedy and all that!

Character Animation

I've been grilling myself lately a lot as I keep wanting to push myself and my animation abilities, especially in these last 3 weeks where I've had week after week of feedback (that's gradually gotten better), but with the latest shot I've been animating it was all about the subtleties. I couldn't use any tricks, no deformers, cutaways etc. and so it relies all on my animation ability. I'm quite impressed with myself at how far I've gotten, but as ever I know there's a million miles till I'll be where the greats are.

This shot works in context with the previous one, where Sofia has rejected his Kite offering.

Little Guy

Training as a Character Animator can be pretty frustrating stuff sometimes, and today I just wanted to get away from it after spending the last few days on it non stop.

Inspired by my girlfriend's little bro I cooked this up for a bit of fun, it's always nice to have a break from work.
